# Cancellation and Refund Policy

## 1. Overview
BrandCrux operates on a pay-as-you-go, credit-based model. There are no subscriptions, recurring charges, or memberships to cancel. You purchase scan credits as needed and use them at your own pace.

This policy outlines how refunds are handled for credit purchases made on brandcrux.ai.

## 2. No Subscription to Cancel
Since BrandCrux uses a pay-as-you-go model, there is no subscription or recurring billing to cancel. You are never charged automatically after your initial credit purchase. You only pay when you choose to buy additional credits.

## 3. Used Credits
Credits that have been consumed by running scans are **non-refundable**. Once a credit is used to query an AI engine, the scan is executed immediately and the result is delivered to your account. Due to the nature of the service and the costs incurred with third-party AI providers, used credits cannot be reversed or refunded.

## 4. Unused Credits
If you have purchased credits that remain unused, you may request a refund subject to the following conditions:

- The refund request must be made **within 7 days** of the original purchase date.
- The credits must be completely unused. Partially used credit packages are not eligible for a refund.
- Refund requests must be submitted via email to support@brandcrux.ai with your account email and order details.

## 5. Free Credits
The complimentary 1,000 credits provided to every new account are not eligible for refund, as no payment was made for them. These credits are provided at no cost for evaluation purposes.

## 6. Refund Processing
Approved refunds are processed as follows:

- Refunds are issued back to the **original payment method** used during purchase.
- Processing time is **5 to 7 business days** from the date of approval.
- All refunds are processed through our payment gateway.
- You will receive an email confirmation once the refund has been initiated.

## 7. Exceptions
We may, at our sole discretion, offer refunds or credit adjustments outside of the above policy in cases of:

- Technical errors that resulted in incorrect credit deductions.
- Duplicate or erroneous charges.
- Service outages that prevented scans from completing.

In such cases, please contact us with relevant details and we will investigate promptly.
